It’s all you can eat at Hargrave. The Academy
has contracted with Lynchburg’s Meriwether-Godsey,
Inc. to supply restaurant quality meals to the Corps
of Cadets. Meriwether-Godsey is a specialist in high
quality, high volume meals to several Virginia private
schools and is directly associated with the Meriwether
Market Restaurant located in Lynchburg, Virginia.
The main entrée varies from
meal to meal, for a more balanced Cadet diet. Breakfast,
lunch and dinner feature everything from eggs to steak
and pasta to tacos. There are also six special ‘holiday’
meals offered throughout the school year which offer
a more festive fare.
In addition to the main entrée,
Hargrave meals feature a full salad bar, deli bar,
fruit bar and cereal bar. Fresh baked goods are always
available, with dessert supplied at lunch and dinner.
Breakfast also includes a waffle bar.
There are
always alternative meals for special dietary needs.
Dietary restrictions based on medical need or religion
is respected at Hargrave. Please talk with your admissions
councilor or our Meriwether-Godsey manager to take
care of your student’s needs. A registered dietitian
is also available to students with notice provided
to the Mess Hall.
