Hargrave’s Varsity Football VIC All-Conference Selections Announced

Hargrave’s varsity football team witnessed 15 Cadets selected as Virginia Independent Conference (VIC) All-Conference selections for the 2011 football season. The awards were presented following the Academy’s Tuesday morning chapel service on December 6, 2011.
Despite its 4-5 record, Hargrave varsity team was competitive throughout the 2011 season. The team won two out of six home games and two out of three games on the road.
“Overall the Tigers were able to improve in many areas this season from the previous one and look to continue to do so for the future,” said Head Coach David Tavenner.
