Introducing a new scholarship for interested families!
GRASP - Hargrave Scholarship: This scholarship has been established as a result of an agreement between GReat Aspirations Scholarship Program (GRASP) and Hargrave Military Academy. The recipients of the scholarships will be based on the following criteria:
1. A demonstrated financial need, as reflected on the Personal Financial Statement (PFS) completed through the School & Student Services of the National Association of Independent Schools.
2. A demonstrated academic ability to succeed in Hargrave’s secondary program as evidenced by the Student’s acceptance to Hargrave.
3. A demonstrated commitment to his community through volunteer and/or school-related activities.
4. A personal statement submitted by the applicant, outlining his past achievements and his goals for his education and future career; and
5. A teacher or advisor recommendation letter; a copy of Hargrave’s recommendation is sufficient for these purposes.
The scholarships provided by the Fund will be awarded without regard to race, color, national or ethnic origin of the applicant. Please view the GRASP website at www.grasp4virginia.com.
