2011 Hanging of the Greens Offerings

The 2011 Hanging of the Greens Christmas service collected donations to two very worthy organizations in the Chatham community. Offerings totaled $409. The funds were split evenly and and provided to:
The Chatham Rescue Squad. Located less than a block away, the EMS squad directly serves Hargrave with fast response time which ensures faster care. This is especially true when a Cadet is injured. The squad is run by volunteers.
Oak Grove Residential Care. Located about a mile or so southwest from Hargrave’s campus, this facility assists the indigent elderly. It is the focus of a lot of Christian fellowship over the years, especially from the Cadets. Their roof line can be seen from upper barracks windows.
