After being accepted to Hargrave Military Academy, International students need to prepare for travel and admittance into the United States.
Preparation after Acceptance to Hargrave
I-20
An I-20 will be issued to you from Hargrave after the student is accepted and enrolled. The I-20 will accompany your acceptance letter. (A copy of your passport should accompany the application to verify that the name on the passport matches the name on the I-20.) In addition, a UPS address should be provided to mail the I-20.
Visa
It normally takes two to four months after you receive Hargrave acceptance papers to obtain an interview at your consulate office to obtain a Visa.
Medical Insurance
All Hargrave students are required to have medical insurance.
Immunization Records
All Hargrave students will need to submit up-to-date immunization records.
Physical Exam
Every student must have an up-to-date physical exam given within the last year. This allows our students to participate in physical activities on campus, such as sports, drill and other student activities.
