In addition to completing an application to Hargrave, the Academy requests that the following information and related forms are completed and provided to the school prior to acceptance.
Application Checklist
Hargrave offers all levels of ESL, therefore we do not require a minimum score on a SLEP or any other language equivalent test. Students will be tested upon arrival at the Hargrave to determine appropriate ESL placement within the Academy.
In addition to the application and application fee, the following information is required by Hargrave of all students:
- Current copy of official academic transcripts
- Two (2) teachers letters of recommendation (Found on The Application Process Form)
- One (1) principal or guidance counselor recommendation (Found on The Application Process Form)
- A personal interview with an admissions counselor and student
The personal interview can be completed over the phone or through Skype. (An interpreter for any language can be used for scheduled interviews.)
Hargrave’s acceptance committee will determine acceptance of the student. The committee consists of more than one individual, and considers numerous aspects about each student individually before making a determination.
