Hargrave is now accepting applications for Football Assistant Interns for our Post-Graduate football team. Hargrave's PG Football program sets the standard year after year for academic and athletic success with aspiring athletes. PG Football players who enroll in Hargrave’s one-year program benefit by: earning higher scores and grades for college acceptance; building a vastly stronger knowledge base and better self-discipline for further success at college; and providing more time for their bodies to mature prior to playing college football.

Hargrave’s PG Football program is a very successful option for most young men. Numerous Hargrave PG players join the ranks of many college programs every year.  The program pushes students on the practice field, tests their character and leadership and, most importantly, gets them committed to their education. Hargrave’s dedicated faculty, staff and coaches work toward realizing your son’s dreams by teaching them self-discipline, hard work and dedication to their goals.

Hargrave's Military Academy’s high school education features the finest academics in a military boarding school setting.  Academically challenging individualized instruction for every student is a Hargrave tradition stretching back to our founding in 1909.

Requirements

Successful candidates should possess:

  • Strong track record coaching offensive line, wide receivers, and/or quarterbacks.     

  • High energy, strong interpersonal, organizational skills required

  • Prior coaching experience or participation in football

  • Strong ability to communicate with our young men

  • Availability for travel to contests, tournaments, etc.  (may include weekend hours)

  • Valid Driver’s License

  • Ability to work individually and with a team

  • Dedication and commitment to Hargrave’s mission of development of the whole person – academically, athletically, and spiritually – mind, body, and soul

Hargrave’s Academic Program is looking for positive and energetic attitudes, leadership and mentoring skills and a desire to serve the Academy’s young men.
