Hargrave is now accepting applications for Barber to support its onsite Barbershop. This position will be responsible for providing military style hair cuts to Cadets, as well as, maintaining compliance and safety regulations for the shop. This position will be required to cover the shop schedule including some weekends and all busy times such as matriculations, and big events to support Academy.

Hargrave's Military Academy’s middle to high school education features the finest academics in a military boarding school setting. Academically challenging individualized instruction for every student is a Hargrave tradition stretching back to our founding in 1909.

Successful candidates should possess:

• Necessary knowledge base and skills to promote smooth operations
• Strong ability to work independently for long periods
• Current Licensure from Virginia State Board of Cosmetology required Minimum of 3 - 5 years experience preferred with diverse men’s cuts and styles
• Availability to work 4 weekday shifts from 12:30pm-6:30pm and 1- four (4) hour shift on the weekend
• Strong ability to communicate with our young men and all levels of the organization
• Dedication and commitment to Hargrave’s mission of development of the whole person – academically, athletically, and spiritually – mind, body, and soul
