Hargrave's Post-Graduate Football program is not out to win. It is out to place. It is out to place your son in an NCAA qualified school, preferably D3 or better.
The program pushes students on the practice field, tests their character and leadership and, most importantly, gets them committed to their education. Hargrave’s dedicated faculty, staff and coaches work toward realizing your son’s dreams by teaching them self-discipline, hard work and dedication to their goals.
Hargrave's Post-Graduate Football program is not the simple route, but it is the path to success for many young men looking for stronger college qualifications and the opportunity to test their football skills to the limit.
And after we hit the books, make the plays, film the moves, achieve the SAT scores, call the contacts and take the names. After everything is focused on this number one goal,…
…we also like to win.
About the Program
Hargrave's PG Football program sets the standard year after year for academic and athletic success with aspiring athletes. PG Football players who enroll in Hargrave’s one-year program benefit by: earning higher scores and grades for college acceptance; building a vastly stronger knowledge base and better self-discipline for further success at college; and providing more time for their bodies to mature prior to playing college football.
Hargrave’s PG Football program is a very successful option for most young men. Numerous Hargrave PG players join the ranks of many college programs every year. Check out our past sesons link on this page. There is no loss of collegiate eligibility.
Of those graduates, some will play for the National Football League (NFL) following their college departure. Recent NFL players include: Peria Jerry (Atlanta Falcons); Anthony Hill (Houstan Texans); Andre Brown (New York Giants); Brandon Anderson (Indianapolis Colts); Khalif Mitchell (San Francisco 49ers); Orion Martin (Miami Dolphins); Leonard Pope (Arizona Cardinals); Brandon Albert (Kansas City Chiefs); Brandon Flowers (Kansas City Chiefs); Marcus Harison (Chicago Bears); Justin Harper Baltimore Ravens); Charles Grant (New Orleans Saints); Jon Sullivan (New Orleans Saints); Tory Holt (St. Louis Rams); Soloman Paige (Dallas Cowboys); Tony Scott (New York Jets); Robert Johnson (Atlanta Falcons); Anthony Davis (Tampa Bay Buccaneers); Ronald Fields (San Francisco 49ers); Jay Ratliff (Dallas Cowboys); Carlos Rogers (Washington Redskins); Danny Ware (Tennesse Titans); Fred Bennett (Houston Texans); Jared Gaither (Baltimore Ravens); and Jyles Tucker (San Diego Chargers).

A quote from a former Hargrave Post-Graduate student:
"I played for you in the 2003 year postgrad season. You invited me into your house, made me part of your family and gave me a little bit of home sweet home. I will never forget the day I transitioned from linebacker to fullback. The day I broke my first tackle through Amoud Brooks and scored in practice has defined my life to this point. I never thought hard work and dedication would pay off until I entered the Naval Academy. The lessons I learned through your hard work ethic led me to graduating from the United States Naval Academy. Nothing in my life was ever as hard as your practices, including my time at the Academy. My prior eduction gave me a disadvantage in college, but the ability to endure I learned from you led me to graduation from the Academy. Although I never played football again after HMA, the mindset I carried on after Hargrave has helped me through many challenging situations. I am writing this message to let you know how much your influence has impacted my life. I wish you the best of luck in coaching and influencing the best future college athletes in NCAA football."
