Continuing Hargrave's Mission
Your gifts to Hargrave Military Academy directly benefit student instruction through scholarships, teaching, academic and or athletic support. Additionally, cash gifts can support technology and our facilities. Every gift to Hargrave counts, so please give as generously as you can.
Advancement Office
Hargrave's Advancement Office includes the Academy's primary fundraising personnel, as well as special event coordination, gift acknowledgment and receipting, donor research, annual giving programs, planned giving services, capital campaign programs, and corporate and foundation giving.
Hargrave's Advancement personnel strive to raise funds from the private sector to further the Academy's mission. In doing so, the advancement office plans strategically to facilitate the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of all constituencies, and seeks to positively promote the Academy.
The Academy's fund raising efforts are enhanced by effective partnerships with all components of the campus community as well as external audiences including alumni, parents, corporations, foundations and friends.
Ways to Give
There are numerous ways to support Hargrave Military Academy. Alumni, parents and friends generally make gifts and pledge payments by check or credit card. However, you may be able to take advantage of tax savings from giving appreciated stocks, shares of mutual funds or real estate. Matching gifts from employers, gifts-in-kind and planned gifts are additional avenues of giving to Hargrave.

Donor Recognition
Hargrave Military Academy recognizes donor generosity through Giving Clubs. Giving Club levels have been established to recognize those who exhibit leadership through their contributions. Membership level is determined by total giving, which includes gifts from the donor, the donor’s spouse and any matching gifts from employers. Donors are recognized each year in the fall publication of the Guidon.
