Hargrave
Advancement includes the Academy's primary fundraising
personnel, as well as special event coordination,
gift acknowledgment and receipting, donor research,
annual giving programs, planned giving services, capital
campaign programs, and corporate and foundation giving.
Hargrave's
Advancement personnel strive to raise funds from the
private sector to further the Academy's mission. In
doing so, the advancement office plans strategically
to facilitate the identification, cultivation, solicitation
and stewardship of all constituencies, and seeks to
positively promote the Academy.
The
Academy's fund raising efforts are enhanced by effective
partnerships with all components of the campus community
as well as external audiences including alumni, parents,
corporations, foundations and friends. Current fundraising
initiatives include securing funding for a new dining hall/student union as well as several other ongoing capital projects.
