Hargrave alumni share many rewarding
experiences from their days at Hargrave. And, their
school spirit, passion and camaraderie are felt at
Hargrave everyday.
Hargrave’s
alumni office serves as a touchstone for finding lost
friends, arranging alumni events and remaining in
general contact with the Academy. It also produces
Hargrave’s alumni magazine, the Guidon,
coordinates Homecomings and shares goodwill.

Guidon
The Guidon
is Hargrave's official alumni and Academy magazine.
If you have personal news or stories that you would
like to share with other members of the Hargrave family,
please submit an email to the Guidon or contact Devie Gibson at
434-432-2692. Please include your full name and class
year with your information.
The Guidon
welcomes news on the personal happenings of all Hargrave
graduates. This news includes, but is not limited
to, employment information, marriage announcements,
birth announcements, and 'thank you' notes to faculty
and staff. This information is published each issue
in the Alumni News section of the Guidon.
The Guidon is FREE to all
graduates of Hargrave Military Academy.

Gatherings
Alumni gatherings are a great way
to reunite with lost friends, meet other alums and
enjoy great fellowship. A gathering is usually held
off campus in parts of the country that are close
to you. Routine gatherings are usually held in places
such as Raleigh and Charlotte, North Carolina, Washington,
D.C., and Richmond, Virginia.
Gatherings usually need a local event
sponsor and alumni interest to make a successful event.

Homecoming
The ‘red carpet’ rolls
out for all returning alumni. Graduates, former students,
faculty and staff meet of a great weekend of cameradaire
and fellowship. A typical alumni weekend includes
a round of golf, alumni class photos, a Cadet parade
and an awards ceremony. Breakfast and lunch on Saturday
are also included. Please check the Events box below

Yesteryear
Hall
Hargrave’s tribute to
our former Cadets stands ready for your inspection.
Old yearbooks and other memoriabilia abound in the
Hall. Compare Hargrave’s uniforms of yesteryear
with today’s standard issue. Tours are available
upon request to the Director of Alumni.
