  • Snow Covered Military Hardware

    Hargrave does own a single WWII era gun, which is a popular photo destination.

  • Owen R. Cheatham Chapel

    Most of the Academy's large gatherings take place in the Chapel, to include graduation.

  • Camden Administration Building

    Camden Hall is heart of the school, featuring barracks, classrooms, administration and service areas.

  • Sanford-Bowman Hall

    The oldest building on campus is still one of the better looking buildings on campus. The structure was recently updated.

    No gatehouse? Most visitors to Hargrave are shocked that there are no Cadets posted at the gatehouse and that the campus is rather open to 'enemy' incursion. In fact, there is no gatehouse and the campus is a traditional boarding school in many respects. The Georgian architecture is a nice contrast to the military aspect of Hargrave, and it reinforces the student’s thinking in academic learning instead of military drill and combat.
