Hargrave is the premier military boarding academy for young men in
the United States. Our primary focus is in developing the 'whole person' through Hargrave's four pillars of success. These pillars are: Academic Achievement, Leadership, Character Development and Athletics. There is individual focus on each student that joins the Hargrave family.
And, we are a family… a family of instructors,
parents and mentors working with the Cadets themselves
to build a better future for each student.
Hargrave
Cadets are expected to apply themselves, whether in
the classroom, on the athletic fields or in their
social and spiritual growth. Our leadership programs,
our "How to Study" course, and our Christian
mentoring also provide the basis for preparing our
Cadets to be successful, responsible and confident
citizens.
