Hargrave offers two types of diplomas, the standard diploma and the Advanced Studies Diploma. There are advantages and disadvantages to each.
Standard Diploma
Effective with the Class of 2004.
English: 4 credits
Mathematics (Alg. I or above): 3 credits
Science (Biology required): 3 credits
Social Studies (World Studies, US History & Government required): 3 credits
Health: 1 credit
Fine Arts/Practical Arts: 1 credit
Bible: 1 credit
Military: 1 credit
Electives: 5 credits
Total 22 credits
Advanced Studies Diploma
Effective with the Class of 2004. Earlier Classes are responsible for the following as their schedule allows.
English: 4 credits
Math (Algebra I, II, Geometry or higher): 4 credits
Science (Biology & Chemistry required): 4 credits
Social Studies (World Studies, US History & Government required): 4 credits
Foreign Language (3 of 1 -or- 2 of 2): 3 credits
Health: 1 credits
Fine Arts/Practical Arts: 1 credits
Bible: 1 credits
Military: 1 credits
Electives: 1 credits
Total 24 credits
