Laptop Program

Beginning with the 2003 Academic year, Hargrave initiated the laptop program as part of the school’s enhanced learning through technology objective. Currently all Cadets in grades 9 through Post- Graduate are issued a school owned laptop. Laptops are provided in carts for the Middle School cadets to use in their curriculum. In addition, the laptops provided for Middle School are an essential part of the Lego Education Robotics program.
The Cadet laptop program uses wireless access points to connect to the network in the classrooms and on the barracks. Hargrave provides all of the necessary software needed, including an email address for each Cadet. The goal of the laptop program is to enhance the learning of each cadet by providing anytime, anywhere access to curriculum based resources. |
